The 2011-2012 Valley Concert Series at the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming kicks off this Sunday, October 30 at 4pm with Opera and Musical Theater numbers.

Please join us the day before Halloween to hear wonderful arias and scenes from Bizet’s Carmen, Wagner’s Die Walküre and Das Rheingold, Floyd’s Susannah, Rossini’s Cenerentola, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Donizetti’s Don Pasquale,

Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame, Puccini’s Le Villi and Madame Butterfly, Verdi’s Otello, Argento’s The Aspern Papers, Bernstein’s Candide, and Flaherty’s Ragtime. Then get into the Halloween mood with songs and scenes from The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The concert will feature singers from the church and community in this benefit - opening concert. Any free will donations received will go toward funding the Chancel Choir in the World Choir Games set for July of 2012.
