Community Approach to Underage Drinking Forum – Monday, October 10
Registration begins at 6:45 p.m. with the meeting to begin at 7:00 p.m. The forum will be held at the Fay Auditorium at the Wyoming Middle School, 17 Wyoming Avenue.
The goal of this meeting will be to unite parents, concerned residents, and community organizations to develop immediate and long range strategies to combat childhood alcohol use.
Breakout Groups to develop strategies to address underage drinking including:
-Development of Alternative Activities
-Strengthening the Law
-Student Education
-Parent Education
The Alcohol Task Force* invites parents, even with young children, to attend. It’s not too early to think about strategies to deal with peer pressure on both students and adults. Be proactive!
*Sponsored by the Wyoming Schools Wellness Committee, Wyoming Parent School Association, Wyoming Police Department and Wyoming Youth Services.
