GENERATIONS TOGETHER KICK-OFF MEETING
Generations Together – a partnership between a Wyoming senior resident (or couple) and a Wyoming High School student – will be holding its kick-off meeting at Wyoming High School on Thursday, September 8th, at 3:15 p.m. in Room 105 (enter at left entrance door by principal’s office).
Any senior citizens or students who want to learn more about the program should attend; there are many benefits for those who participate. Technology help (computer, DVD player, cell phone, etc.), household projects or chores, yard work, and shared fun experiences are some of the activities that student/senior citizen pairs do together. Most senior citizen participants are active in our community and still travel and drive; they enjoy the relationship that develops with their high school student. The program runs throughout the nine months of the school year and has enjoyed much success since its inception.
We hope to see you at our first meeting on September 8th.
