PARKING AND STORAGE OF RECREATIONAL AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, TRAILERS, AND EQUIPMENT

The City of Wyoming would like to remind residents and businesses of the following parking regulations in our community:

  • Commercial vehicles and trucks having ¾-ton carrying capacity or storage in their beds may be parked on public streets for no more than 2 hours from 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
  • Commercial vehicles may not be parked or stored in residential areas, unless making pick-ups, deliveries, or service calls to residential properties.
  • Specialized use vehicles (i.e. bus, tow-truck, trench digger, loader) may not be parked or stored in residential districts.
  • Recreational vehicles, including boats, may be parked on a public street for no longer than 24 hours.
  • Recreational vehicles, including boats, may be parked or stored on private residential property to the rear of the rear building line, a minimum of 5 feet from side and rear property lines, when not stored in an enclosed garage.  On corner lots, parking or storage of such items shall not be permitted on the side yard nearest the public street.  Such items may be parked in the front driveway, not exceeding 7 days in any calendar year, for purposes of loading, unloading and visiting.

The City appreciates residents’ efforts and cooperation in promoting the residential quality of our neighborhoods.  For full text of Ordinances, please visit www.wyoming.oh.us, or for more information please contact Megan Statt Blake, Assistant Community Development Director at (513)842.1397 or mstattblake@wyoming.oh.us.
