Do you have a neighbor or friend who has done amazing things with their yard or landscape?  Do you know someone who improved the exterior of their home or business in a way that makes the whole neighborhood better?  Have you ever been out for a walk and noticed that particular garden that is well-tended or colorful?  These are the properties that keep Wyoming beautiful, and we want to recognize them!  Consider nominating them for a 2011 Beautify Wyoming Award.  

Each year, the Beautify Wyoming Commission selects properties in the city that have made strides to improve their landscape or building.  Nominations are then voted on by the commission and the winners are recognized with a plaque awarded by City Council.  Categories include Splash of Color, Eco-Friendly, Historic Preservation, and more.  It's a great way to thank residents for contributing to the fabric of our town.  Nominations can be found here, or are available at most Wyoming businesses and at City Hall.  For more information on the Beautify Wyoming Commission, click here.
