RAIN OR SHINE: CELEBRATE EARTH DAY ON SATURDAY, APRIL 24

Join the City for the first Annual Earth Day Celebration from 10 am- 5 pm along Wyoming Avenue. It will be a great day of live music, speakers, food, and fun!

10 AM-5 PM- Merchant, Organizations and Food Booths will be located along Wyoming Avenue

11:00 AM- Wendi Van Buren, ODNR Urban Forester will give a presentation

12:00 PM- Recycled Earth Friendly Kid’s Costume Contest
Children will partake in a costume contest.  Costumes can be made out of recycled items or represent an “Earth Friendly” concept.  Please sign up at 11:45 am at the Gazebo.

  • Age groups: 0-2 years of age, 3-5 years of age, 6-8 years of age, 9-11 years of age, and 12 years and up.  Small prizes will be awarded to the winner of each age group!

1:00 PM- The Paul Otten Band will be provide live entertainment at the Gazebo

3:00 PM- Jim Williams from the Hamilton County Park District will be presenting “Backyard Wildlife”

4:00 PM-The band Terreus will provide live jazz at the Gazebo
