Wyoming - Glendale Citizen Fire Academy
Wyoming Fire - EMS and the Glendale Fire Department are teaming up to invite the residents of Glendale and Wyoming the opportunity to attend a joint Citizen Fire Academy. The Program is designed to acquaint individuals with the fundamentals of Fire and EMS response and the value of the volunteer firefighters and medics that deliver these vital services in their communities.
The classes will begin on Monday, April 12 from 6-9 pm running Monday and Wednesday each week, along with two Saturdays. The class will graduate on May 8th. Individuals can participate in the entire class including all the fire training exercises, or audit those training activities that they may feel are too strenuous.
The class is open to individuals 18 years or older. A brief background check is required and registration is limited to a combined class of no more than 20 citizens.
