Sexting Seminar
On Wednesday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m. the Wyoming Police Department, Wyoming Youth Services Bureau, Wyoming Parent School Association and Wyoming Schools will host a seminar on Sexting at the Wyoming Middle School. This seminar will address issues of sexting and cyber-bullying. We have partnered with Susanna Davis, a principal at Lakota Schools, and Jeff Neuman, a West Chester Township Police Officer, who both have experience dealing with the issues that will be covered during this seminar.
Halloween Night Safety Reminder
Chief Baldauf and the Police Department remind all driver’s to be extra careful on Halloween night (Saturday, October 31). One of the biggest dangers our kids face as they go from house to house on Halloween night is from vehicular traffic. The Police Department encourages all drivers to slow down and avoid distractions that may increase your reaction time in avoiding a child suddenly dashing across the street. The following article talks about the importance of being extra careful while driving on Halloween night as well as offering some additional tips for a safe Halloween. http://usat.me/?36625256.
