New Rumpke Recycling Trucks Look Similar to Rumpke Waste Trucks
The City has received many calls from residents stating that their garbage has been missed by a Rumpke waste truck or their recycling was picked up by a Rumpke waste truck.  Rumpke began using recycling trucks that look similar to their waste trucks when the City introduced the 65-gallon recycling containers in order to accommodate the increase in recyclables and allow for a mechanism to lift the recycling containers into to the truck.

Rumpke is using a total of three trucks in the City:  a garbage truck, a recycling truck for the regular recycling bins, and a recycling truck for the recycling wheelers.  All three trucks are in the City at different times.  One thing to be aware of is that the garbage truck and the new recycling trucks for the 65-gallon wheelers look very similar.  Rumpke recycling trucks and Rumpke waste truck may pass your house at any time during the day.  Rumpke has the entire day to pick up garbage and recycling.  Some times, extenuating circumstances prevent the trucks from arriving at your house at the same time each week so please make sure you are setting your trash and recycling out at the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on your garbage day.  If you have any questions, please contact Terry Huxel at 821.3505 or at thuxel@wyoming.oh.us.
