Building Value and the City of Wyoming collaborate on Green Building

On July 28, 2009 a two story house at 641 Oak Ave. was deconstructed piece by piece.  By deconstructing the house versus demolition, more than 6,400 cubic feet of building materials were salvaged and will be made available for purchase at the Building Value retail outlet located at 2901 Gilbert Avenue.  This was the first residential multi-story project for Building Value and the first of this caliber in the Cincinnati area.  The deconstruction process will employ more than 10 individuals for more than 6 days, with trainees gaining valuable experience.  This event reconfirmed Wyoming’s commitment to recycling and environmental responsibility.
